iMicro Repairs is expanding its network of independent service providers in Collier and Lee counties!
We are seeking skilled, detail-oriented electronics technicians to handle high-quality mobile and device repairs on an on-call basis.
This is a contractor position and not an employment position.
You maintain 100% control over your schedule—you only work when you want to.
Details:
Our workflow is designed for maximum efficiency and professional independence:
Project Notifications: When a repair is booked at our Naples facility or via mobile order for Cape Coral, you receive a text/email offer with a flat-fee rate.
Total Autonomy: You have the absolute Right of Refusal.
Quality First: We provide a professional repair bench and components at our 4100 Corporate Square 153-E, Naples location for your convenience.
Pay-When-Paid: We operate on a weekly payout cycle. If the customer pays by Thursday at 5:00 PM EST, you get paid by Friday at 8:00 PM EST.
What We Look For
To maintain the iMicro Quality Standard, our ideal network partners possess:
Technical Expertise: Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing smartphones, tablets, and laptops.
Precision: Experience with screen replacements, battery swaps, and internal component repairs.
Independence: Ability to manage your own taxes (FICA) and insurance as a self-employed professional.
Speed & Reliability: Ability to complete accepted projects within a 60–120 minute window to ensure customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Perform precision teardowns and reassembly of iPhones, iPads, and Android smartphones using industry-standard heat and prying tools.
- Efficiently replace modular parts including OLED/LCD screens, high-capacity batteries, charging ports, and camera modules.
- Utilize software and hardware tools to verify device functionality, identifying the root cause of hardware failures before starting a repair.
- Ensure every repair meets the iMicro Quality Standard, verifying that all internal shields, screws, and seals are correctly replaced.
- Monitor project notifications and manage your own availability to accept or refuse work orders based on your schedule.
Must Have
- Ability to perform professional assembly and disassembly of iPhones, iPads, and Android devices.
- Ability to handle tiny screws and delicate flex cables with zero damage to the internal board.
- Ability to clearly speak and communicate in English to ensure quality hand-off and customer satisfaction. Spanish fluency is a major plus for our Naples service area!
- Acknowledgment of Florida SB 1532 new-hire reporting requirements.
- Must provide a completed Form W-9 for tax reporting (required once payouts exceed $600).
